Covino & Rich— Friday, 5/11/18
- LeBron James is one of (if not the) greatest players to ever live, and he’s in the news every single day on every channel, do you think it’ll feel weird when he retires and is no longer criticized for his every move? He does so much for his community and for his family that it is hard to hate on him, but somehow people still do. It makes it clear that no matter how good you are both on and off the court, you will still get haters crawling out of the woodwork to criticize you for it. It’s sort of like the haters we get on a daily basis, but to a much lesser scale.
- If you get invited over to someone’s house for a house-warming and bring a gift, is it out of obligation or kindness? Covino moved into his new place and now people are asking him what he needs for the place, but he doesn’t know whether it’s them be kind or sympathetic. He got a squatty potty and a toilet light in the mail though, and he doesn’t know where it came from or who to thank. Also, why would they send him random toilet supplies?
- Do you think working seven days a week would be tough, even if it wasn’t 8 hours a day every day? The guys have to opportunity to do some work outside of SiriusXM, but it would be on weekends and they aren’t sure they want to give up their days off. Is working 7 days a week really a smart idea or will that just cause them to burn out very quickly? Even if you love what you do, you need a break sometimes.
- There’s a trainer at Orange Theory that really gets on Covino and Rich’s nerves. She constantly walks around in the class and corrects all the men’s posture and exercises, and it just seems like she is trying to find any way she can to get on their nerves. It is to the point now that they both will look at the schedule and purposefully avoid the classes she teaches because they don’t want to deal with her “power moves” all class. Sometimes a pushy trainer is nice, but constantly, and throughout the entire class gets a bit annoying.
