Covino & Rich— Wednesday, 3/7/18
- Covino has been dealing with unnecessary stress as of lately, and he thinks it’s all anxiety. Why should he feel anxious though? The guys have a busy schedule today and he’s anxious about that, but he knows once he gets through it all he’ll feel better. All he wants to do is chill, and plans and events divert him from doing that. Like when Jon Taffer was here yesterday, he was anxious leading up to the interview, but then once he was in it he loved it. Could it all just be nerves? David Arquette calls in (or so we think) to give us some life advice on how to deal with stress and anxiety, and explains how his situation is similar. Over-thinking has a lot to do with it, and Covino does that a lot, so maybe if he just lets it all go he’ll be happier. Everyone deals with stress and anxiety though, so it’s nothing to be ashamed of.
- Rich watched a new show on Netflix and now he wants to attempt to brainwash himself. The show is called Push and it deals with social pressures to do things and commit crimes. Rich wants to try to brainwash himself like this, in order to give up Instagram, and Instagram girls. There are so many accounts of girls just posting pictures of their asses, why do we follow them? What are they bringing to the table? It’s time for an Instagram detox, unfollow anything and anyone who isn’t helping us in some way!
- Random News for the day comes up. Peyton Manning and Papa John’s are splitting up, and now the official pizza of the NFL will be Pizza Hut. John Travolta is going to be in a new movie, and it’s either about Fred Durst or with Fred Durst, we don’t really know. The Hollywood Treatment is apparently what all the girls get when they move to LA to make it in movies, and Rock Memes are Covino’s new favorite thing. Like a Meme that says “Grilling in the Name Of.” Also, Conservatives are having a hard time dating now with Trump in office, and it could have something to do with the Red Hats they wear.
- Jake had a drunk text situation on Saturday that he now has to deal with the aftermath. He mistakenly gave his phone to a friend, which she took and texted a girl on Instagram that he had been talking to. The text was pretty forward about wanting to get together though, and now Jake has to somehow defuse the situation to get things back to normal. How should he do that? Or should he just leave the situation be and let it work itself out on its own.
