Joel McHale – promoting his new Netflix show “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale”

Show Topics

  • Today, the guys are just really tired of everyone negative on the internet. It seems like anyone and everyone who has something to say thinks it’s a good idea to just post it on social media, but really no one cares what some random dude in Montana thinks about the current political climate. We were much happier when it was just memes and baby photos and the world was a simpler place. Maybe being terrible brings certain people joy, but definitely not us.
  • Pop stars love to make songs about their relationships, both the successful ones and the failed, but when does it go too far? It seems like every pop star nowadays has some song about cheating, being cheated on, or a lost love, that it brings up the question who really is cheating on a POP STAR like Charlie Puth? It’s a heartless gesture, but sometimes people just get pushed too far.
  • There are new “Ring Boys” in the world of MMA, and it’s causing quite the stir. How is having a half-naked guy parade around a boxing ring like the girls in bikinis make any difference? Most of the viewing audience is male, so they probably won’t be interested, but even for the few female viewers, it’s seems like they’re trying to make this a gender equality issue, when no one really cared who was carrying the round cards. The only saving grace for this is that the guys will only be :Ring Boys” for the female MMA fights.

  • Joel McHale is here to talk about his new show “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale” on Netflix, and how the idea all came to fruition. From when he was on The Soup on E!, they took the idea of a pop culture commentary show and broadened it. It’s also now uncensored, which means he can go a lot further with the comedy than ever before. McHale is known for a lot, from The Soup, to Community, to just movies and comedy in general, but maybe C&R can throw their names in the ring for future potential guests.
