As most of you may have heard, there are major changes going on with Sirius XM Radio. The merger is slowly starting to take effect, and so are the changes. Here’s some of the details…
Unfortunately, Maxim Radio as you know it has ceased to exist. We’ve lost some good talent and other good talent has been shifted around. Our midget Stretch has lost his show, which really sucks. He was an awesome dude on the air and off. But I’m sure he’s already started planning his comeback. Be sure to show your support at www.covinoandrich.com/forum or at www.manertainment.com
Devore and Diana will be splitting. Diana will be doing afternoons on Cosmo Radio a few notches away, and John Devore will be doing what he does best on a political talk station to be determined. So keep checking back for details.
All the one hour specialty shows, with the exception of “Game On” have also been cancelled.
As for the Covino & Rich Show, thanks to you and our awesomeness, we have dodged the bullets of a merger and prevailed. They recognized an awesome product and decided to keep us. However, this comes with a few changes. Allow me to introduce you to “Maxim Radio with Covino & Rich” Our new home will be Sirius Stars Too 108 (also available on XM Channel 139). And our new time is 12p-3p ET with replay 9p-12a ET. Yes, we’re on earlier… yes, we lose an hour, but this is only temporary. One thing we can assure you is that we’ll still over the same kick ass product… actually, I take that back – we’re offering an even better product that you will not want to miss. We’re going to cram our usual 4 hours of awesomeness into 3 hours. SO stay tuned, you wont be disappointed.
We are also joined on Sirius Stars Too by actor, comedian, and radio veteran Jay Thomas. He will follow us 3p-6p ET. Mornings will be hosted by Vinny Politan.
