Aside from Covino telling a few “Yo Mama! jokes,” we kicked off the show with a brief discussion of Raaaaaaaandy. Aziz Ansari plays a comedian called Raaaaaaaandy who talks about getting his dick sucked in different places. Covino thinks it s hilarious, but Rich doesnt get it. Next, time for a Covino & Rich NEWS ALERT! We re sad to announce that Brooks & Dunn will be breaking up after their next tour. This led us to discuss other groups that have broken up, especially when people try to go off on their own. Rich made the point that when you re part of something awesome, why do you leave? That can be seen today with Paula Abdul who turned down millions because American Idol and Fox didnt give her what she wanted. Let s face it, she is who she is TODAY because of Simon Cowell on one side and Randy Jackson on the other. It s the dead weight factor. I mean what ever happened to that other dude from Wham! He should have held onto George Michael s nuts for dear life. George would have probably liked that actually. Here s the story just in case you missed it – Brooks & Dunn Split
So while we were discussing Brooks & Dunn, Covino did one of his many “black guy” impressions (Nam Sayin?). This promoted Stacy from Dallas to call up and complain, stating that Covino is a racist for using a different voice and referring to members of 112 as black when he didnt refer to the rockers in bands as white. Covino, in his usual douchey fashion, didnt stand for this. Of course, the dudebros came to Covino s side. This turned in to today s Pussification of America. Stacy, we love you, but stop being so sensitive. Asians love our Lee jokes, and Black Ice loves Covino s black guy impression, so I think we re safe. Plus, as Covino said himself, he s half Mexican, so that earned him the right to make fun of anyone.
Next, even better news!! Pee Wee Herman is returning!! He ll be doing a stage show in LA, where he reunites all the characters from Pee-Wee s Playhouse, like Cowboy Curtis, Miss Yvonne, Chairie, Jambi, etc. We just hope Laurence Fishbourne will be around to take part. Covino & Rich make a lot of Pee Wee references, but they wonder if people even get it. Covino s woman doesnt get it, because she didnt grow up with it, and Zito is too young to know about Pee Wee. But we still think he s awesome, even if Big Top Pee Wee sucked balls. But we did learn something new out of this entire conversation. When Pee Wee, aka Paul Reubens, was caught masturbating in an adult theater, he was cranking it to “Nasty Nurse Nancy.” So make sure you go out tonight, rent that, and crank one in tribute to Pee Wee!
Next, Rich listed one of his biggest pet peeves when it comes to women – when hot girls complain about their life. Rich has yet another theory on life, and it goes a little something like this. Hot chicks shouldnt complain about life, because their one dude or one date away from being set for life. He insists that some wealthy dude will come along and take care of them. After a little old school video game trivia (“With the pass!” comes from Blades of Steel) we talked about shoes with lifts. There s an ad in this month s Maxim Magazine for height increasing shoes (www.increasingshoes.com) They claim to give you an additional 3-5 inches in height. Covino, who is a tad vertically challenged, is considering giving this a try. He claims all shorter guys should consider this for work and with women. He says you gain a little extra boost of confidence that will give you that added edge with women. He even called the company to see if people think these are swoot. They assured Covino that they ve never received any complaints. So we re gonna give these a try for the show and see if anyone says anything. We ll keep you posted.
Finally, we ended the show talking about a video clip circulating the interweb (and even featured on Sportscenter). Some guy slid down a giant slip and slide, catapulted into the air, and then landed in a small kiddie pool. Rich thinks its completely fake, but Covino swears it can be real. We had the dudebros watch it and then call in to voice their opinion. The general concensus is that it s fake, but it seems pretty real to me. There doesnt seem like much room for forgery.
