The Covino & Rich Show

Hey dudebros Spyke here with another show recap.

In case you missed yesterdays show, Ice Cube was nice enough to stop by. Though I think that was the end of him being nice. Right in the beginning of the interview Rich made the mistake of calling Ice Cube, Ice Tea. That prompted a very quick response from Ice Cube at which point Rich went and huddled in the corner while Covino conducted the interview.

So it appears that Steven Tyler of Aerosmith my have penned a deal to host on the next season of American Idol. While none of us think he really fits the part, Covino thinks that Mr. Tyler is too famous to do a show like Idol. He may be the greatest American rocker and Covino thinks he should focus more on a possible new album or tour. Well its hard to say of you ask me. He may just surprise us. So what do you think would Steven Tyler make a good judge?

So Covino decided to start playing a new game on the show called hitting the post. It where we all try out our radio chops to see if we can intro a song before the words start. You should look for us to do this more often especially since Ragin Rich is just so much fun to listen to.

Next up I came up with a theory about lying. According to a little bit of research it appears that you can lie about anything that occurred before 1998. It wasn’t until this point that the internet became something that was easy to use and available to a large group of people. It is also the time around when searching for information and even pictures online became prevalent. Though you do also have to think that social networking didn’t begin the way we know it until 2003. Though in an effort to be safe if your gonna lie, it better be about something before 1998 otherwise JUST DON’T LIE.

Next up was a Dicky Doo Deep Thought: If you could be 70 and die on your 70th birthday and know that your family would be healthy if you did that. Would you do it? This was actually pretty deep honestly I don’t think I could do it. How bout you?

Lastly we got to meet up with the King of Mississippi, Denis O’Hare from True Blood. This guy was a super cool guess and a lot of fun to chat with. Check out the video below and also Check out True Blood, Sundays on HBO.

Hey guys, Chloe here with another recap of today’s C&R show. On today’s show we started off talking about David Hasselhoff and how he got roasted pretty bad this past weekend…check out the video for yourself…

Next we spent a pretty decent amount of time talking about time shares…bore! The conclusion we came to is just DON’T buy one! They are a waste!!

This past weekend Rich was at a wedding where he had a very unfortunate event as he was seated next to some guy that all he did was put other people down. For example, he asked Rich what he did for a living and he told him he works at SiriusXM and the guy responds by saying, “I canceled my Sirius account, waste of money.” Common how rude! Next time you want to say something like that I would sit back and rethink it.

Today we also had a very special guest come in…Amy Spencer! She has recently wrote a book called Meeting Your Half Orange, which is all about dating, how to have a successful relationship, and be the most optimistic you can be. It is a book that was originally written for women but men love it too! So I would definitely recommend you all checking it out!

Rich had a pretty tough weekend as he had another issue come up at the wedding. Some obnoxious friend of his brought up the question in front of Sara about how many people have you slept with? Firstly, I think this guy is simply dumb for bringing it up, but as Amy said on the show it is a topic that should simply NOT be spoken about. It will hurt the both of you, and you don’t need to know it. So for all you guys don’t say it, don’t say I don’t know because that will come back and bite you too, just don’t say a number.

Hey Guys, Chloe here with your recap of today’s C&R show. First we started off we started the show with the Dougie, the new and upcoming song and dance of the summer. I am not going to lie, I may or may not have practiced this dance a few times in front of the mirror. But for everyone to learn check out these two youtube videos of the experts doing the Dougie.

Next we talked about Steven Salter the infamous flight attendant who cursed out passengers and then jumped out the exit door, and slid down the fire slide to escape. Some people are saying this guys a hero but I agree with C&R that he is just some ridiculous guy that didn’t know how to handle his job.

Talking about people freaking out at work…check out this video of a woman attacking the drive through employee at McDonalds because they were only serving the breakfast menu and she couldn’t not get chicken nuggets. Talk about someone losing their cool this woman is psychotic!!

Quickly, I just want to say…for all you C&R competitors who are trying to be the next newest coolest C&R show…you have no chance!! Convio and Rich will always be the best show out there!

I’m not sure if you guys have seen it but if you hadn’t you have to check out the newest America’s Got Talent where a cute 10 year old blonde girl sings an opera song where she sounds 40 years old. I can’t deny that she is extremely talented, but it is also a bit creepy that her voice is able to sound that way. If you were to shut your eyes you would NEVER put two and two together but just listening to her sing.

Have you ever really let down your women? When something bad happened to you just sat and watched instead of trying to help her somehow? At an Astro’s game a few weeks ago a boyfriend and girlfriend were at the game when a foul ball was hit into the stands and the girl got hit when the boy ducked out of the way. I mean that’s pretty pathetic, you would hope that the boyfriend would take the hit, or try to catch the ball instead of letting the ball hit her. It’s simple as this Bo bailed on Sara, and Sara I think you need to find yourself a new boyfriend!

and of course we did a while lot of talking about football and the Jets…

Hey guys, it’s Chloe here with today’s recap of the C&R show. We had a pretty exciting day today as we had the porn star and penthouse model Kayden Kross on our show. But first we started by talking about the Sharktopus which is a octopus/shark who kill sharks that are trying to attack hot girls on the beach.

We then discussed things that scare you when you’re a little kid..so here is a list that we came up with
1) 10pm Do you know where your children are?
2) Land of The Lost
3) One Night in New York City
4) My basement
5) Dolls
6) Thriller by MJ – Spot

Next on our list of things to talk about was Rich’s Sea Shell Theory. The Sea Shell Theory explains how someone tries to find their wife or girlfriend. For example, a little boy goes sea shell picking with his family. Some kids will pick up the first shinny sea shell they see disregarding the cracks in it and they will take it anyway because they don’t think they can find one better, not realizing there are betting shells out there. Others spend the whole day looking for a shell never realizing there is not such thing as PERFECT sea shell and then they take too long and all the good ones are already gone. And some find the sea shell that is best for them and you have to throw a couple of cracked ones back but ultimately find a good one that they want to keep before all the good ones are already taken.

Last but not least, we had an interview with Kayden Kross from penthouse. Spot started off by awkwardly describing what she looked like and then the questions began. We discussed things girls should prefect for their guy, how she got involved in the porn industry, and what she likes and does not like about sex both in her personal life but also on the job. We also found out she has slept with celebrities but she kept her mouth shut about that one. I wonder who it could be….

Hey guys! Chloe here with your daily recap from today’s C&R show. Today was our back from vacation show as C&R both just got back from their tropical vacations last week. Covino had a great time at the Atlantis Cove, in the Bahamas, but unfortunately Rich’s vacation didn’t go so smoothly. Rich went to the Dominican Republic with Sara and the place was simply too boring for him. I mean, how I look at it is if you are on a beach with the person you love, the vacation should be great no matter what. But this place was just way too quiet for them, not to mention the Love lounge singer who was the cheesiest man on the planet who wouldn’t stop singing.

Next we talked about things that make your girl snap…number one thing for me is HUNGER. For some reason, whenever I am hungry I turn into a different person, and the second I eat I am back to being the happy girl I am. So for all you guys reading this don’t do anything to piss off your girl when she is hungry.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to come in Thursday, even though I had really wanted to, to be part of the Spot vs. Kristin breakdown so I really give my opinion. But from the recap and the clips I heard I was a bit disappointed with her answers and attitude. For example, when Spot spoke, you could hear the love in his voice, the passion, and when she spoke she was so cold, and a bit rude. All I want is for Spot to be happy, but he’s a great guy and don’t want to see him get hurt!

Next up we had professional wiffle ball players who have recently written a book about it, come on our show to talk a bit about their sport! It was really cool hearing all their stories about the 57 year old sport. Little did I know, the temperature or the humidity can affect how well your ball is thrown or how many different types of leagues there are where you can throw your pitches at different speeds. To be honest, I thought of wiffle ball as this little kids sport that you stop playing when you are 6, but after this interview I learned it was much much more.

Hey guys, it’s Chloe here with a recap of today’s C&R Show. It started of by Covino talking about his hang over from eye dosing, which is sounds that make you feel high. I personally don’t believe in this but according to some people it really does work, and give you hang over’s for that matter! Rumor has it, it is also something that the military uses to try to get vital information out of prisoners… so next time you listen to these sounds BE CAREFUL because little do you know they may drive you insane.

Next on the C&R show we talking about thing you may not know about your girl. Have you ever been in a situation where you have been dating someone for a while or even married to that person and out of nowhere you find out something new about that person? It doesn’t have to be bad, it could just be a fun fact, but this actually happened to Covino last night. He found out his baby mama, Layla was in the music video Dirty Pop by Nsync (1:45 seconds into the video). I mean being a girl who was young and loved pop bands during the 1990’s I must admit that is pretty cool! But some of the listeners who called up told stories about something they found out that wasn’t that cool but actually disturbing about their girl. Sometimes it’s better not to investigate things in peoples past, and love the person you are with in the moment.

Ice -T…recently he was pulled over by the police for not wearing his seatbelt and got thrown into jail..he then went home and tweeted the officers name and badge number which lead us to talking about the law enforcement and technology. In today’s world with all the technology we have whether it is camera’s on cell phones or point and shoots, it is very easy to catch people doing something wrong and then be able to put it on the internet for everyone to see. Now in some cases this is annoying and uncalled for, but in other cases when it comes to dealing with bad cops, it is a good way to show the world how police can no longer be unjust and get away with treating people poorly. For example, a 57 year old woman called the police because she heard something in the backyard. When the police came they got into a little argument and the police officer decided it was okay to taze an old women 12 times. If she had not gotten this on video the police officer could have gotten away with doing such a disgusting thing, but because it had been recorded, she was able to show the world her being assaulted. So next time you get in trouble with the police, unless you should be in trouble, be aware about your surroundings and make sure you are being treated properly by the authorizes.

According the C&R the expendables featuring Terry Cruise, Randy Couture, and Jet Lee is the “bro” movie to see…so for all of you dudebros looking for a good movie here is one just for you

As we do every Wednesday it is that time of the day, my favorite time for me to rap. On today’s show I rapped Baby Got Back by Sir Mix A lot, which I must say I nailed (not to be cocky) but I definitely redeemed myself after the past few weeks….

To end the show we heard a little clip to preview the Spot Vs. Kristen tomorrow. Will they be able to save their relationship by confronting each other on air? Or will the callers just tear her apart? You’ll have to wait and see on the C&R show tomorrow.

Hey guys! Chloe here to bring you a recap of today’s C&R show. We had a lot of excitement today starting off talking about Rich trying to sleep on the plane and ending with porn stars who are featured in this months Penthouse magazine. We also started off the show discussing the end of the season finale of the hills..because I have NOT seen it yet, and the wonderful C&R who don’t even watch the show decided to ruin it for me , I am going to spare any comments about it until I get to watch the show tonight.

Have you ever written down what you want to talk about before you call a girl? If your in a fight? or simply nervous? This is something I have to admit I have done before and I am sure many people have done too. I have never been too nervous to call a boy and ask him on a date but I am bad at confronting people so I often write down, so I do not forget my points, the issues I have with someone before I talk to them. So for all of you write down things before you say them, whether you are trying to ask a girl on a date, nervous, or calling in on the radio…DON’T be embarrassed! We all do it!

Mel Gibson…now that’s a whole other story within itself, I don’t want to go on my own rant about how disgusting of a guy he is but if you haven’t heard or seen these videos…check them out now and trust me you will be just as disgusted as I am…

Smoking…its just gross. Don’t do it! We had a friend in need today, Jon from Wisconsin, who met this girl who was a 10, nice, great friends, a hottie, but he soon found out she was a smoker and nothing could be more of a turn off. Here is my advice, if she won’t quit for you..she’s not worth it! Have her quick that nasty habit.

And of course I rapped…this week I rapped Skee Lo I Wish…I must admit I am a bit upset with my performance this week as I nailed it in the office before the show, but my nerves got the best of me. Luckily on the third time is always a charm…

The end off the show, for the last hour we had two guests in from Penthouse magazine, Mckenzee Miles and Lela Star. We talked about everything from how they got into that industry to having double anal sex. I must admit I sat back and listened to most of their answers versus participating in this conversation but I did ask for them to give all the girls listening advice on something men love.

That’s right, if you were watching the 2010 All Star Home Run Derby, you saw 3 baffoons in left field during Miguel Cabrera’s 7th home run in the first round. Well those 3 baffoons just happened to be Covino, Rich and Spot. That’s 2 years in a row! And this year, we got at least 10 seconds of airtime on ESPN.

Hey guys its Chloe here with today’s recap of the show. On today’s show we first talked about the “douchest” comments your friends have ever made. You know those comments that someone says that you mouth just drops wide open and they won’t let you live it down. Well during yesterdays show Shawn the Lawyer had one of those extremely pompous moments, when C&R were talking and Shawn responds “If it’s not in the New York Times I don’t care”. Now talk about an obnoxious comment.

After taking multiple calls about your friends “douchest” comment we has a special guest come in…the one, the only, DREW BREES. He is a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, and also a very handsome guy I have to add. We only had a short time with him but we spoke about his championship ring, his new book which is coming out soon, and the oil spill and how New Orleans could potentially have oil rain?

After the commercial break we had to deal with a little fight between Rich and Spot about how quickly Drew had to leave the studio. But once we got over that we spoke about what I would have to say was the most boring part of today’s show. To be honest, I truly rarely find anything to be boring on the C&R show but this was just a yawn for me. So the most boring topic of the day goes to:

Next on the show was my favorite part obviously…my weekly rap! Today I rapped Now That We Found Love by Heavy D. Check out the video online coming soon…

I must admit, my rap probably came in second to what we spoke about next, because we had an interview with the two member’s from the Jersey Shore, Vinny and Pauly D. C&R did a great job of finding out how the deal with all the ladies and the lime light being some of the most well known reality TV stars.

We then did a quick new recap talking about of course how Lindsay Lohan is going to jail, as well as how a guy fell out of the stands when he was trying to catch a ball at a baseball game.

We ended off the show by talking about if breakups and divorces are contagious…if your friends can truly influence you enough to end a relationship with someone because they recently did. I mean, I believe it is very true, I think it is immature and if you are happy in a relationship you should not fall into peer pressure but especially in college I have personally seen it happen a lot. So my words of wisdom are: do not do things because you feel pressured to, because most of the time if your friends are ripping on you when you are in a good relationship it is because they are jealous not because they are thinking about what is good for you.
